Script Manager

The script manager allows you to copy or execute scripts.

- The objects are displayed based on dependency order.
- All object merge scripts have been designed to delete any foreign keys which will be affected by changes the script will make, then once the changes have been made if possible the foreign keys will be recreated.
- The copy button will copy the script for all of the selected changes into the clipboard for pasting into the desired application.
- Refresh after update options lets you force SQL Delta to re-load and compare the database after the scripting is complete. This only occurs after a script has run and after you press the Close button.
- The run button, after warning you to make sure the database has been backup up, will launch the execution progress screen. This screen displays the status of the merge and if a merge script fails you will be prompted whether or not you wish to continue.
- Once the scripting process is complete all the processed objects are disabled. Any objects that could not be updated are still available and you can re-run the Run process. This feature is useful on the occasion where a script fails due to an unexpected dependency.
