SQL Delta for Oracle® Databases - Version 1.6

We have just released an update to SQL Delta for Oracle® Database (SDO), our tool for comparing Oracle Databases. SDO is the first of a range of new servers that SQL Delta will support. SDO will compare all schema objects in an Oracle database, script changes and synchronize the target database.

We have just released the latest version of SQL Delta for SQL Server (SDSS). This version supports SQL Server editions 2000 up to 2012.

Upgrades policy change

Starting September 1, 2008 we have a new product upgrade policy and a slight change to our current policy for everyone who purchased before September 1.

New Upgrades Policy for purchases from September 1, 2008

License holders will receive free upgrades to SQL Delta for 2 years from the date of purchase and these upgrades are regardless of whether the new version is a major upgrade or a minor upgrade. Once your upgrade period expires you have the option of purchasing an Upgrade Support Extension to extend your upgrade support for another 2 years.

Currently the Upgrade Support Extension is discounted and the price is 50% off the SQL Delta price at that time, for your same license type.

Change To Current Policy

For everyone who purchased SQL Delta prior to September 1, 2008 you still receive free upgrades for the life of the product. However we have been asked to clarify an end date for this policy. Effective immediately license holders of SQL Delta receive free upgrades for the life of the product or until December 31, 2030.

SQL Delta 4.2 released

For those of you who have been using SQL Delta 3.x you will find SQL Delta 4.2 a vast improvement with support for SQL Server 2005 as well as SQL Server 7 and 2000. A new user interface that's simpler and much easier to use. The new project manager makes those repetitive compares a breeze.

You can run SQL Delta version 3.x side by side with version 4.2 however we recommend you uninstall version 3. In addition version 3 is no longer supported.

Delta Snap 4.2 released plus a name change

Delta Snap, which was formerly called SQL Schema, is our command line snapshot tool. Delta Snap allows you to create a snapshot file of a SQL Server database and then use the snapshot in comparisons.

SQL Delta Workbench Updated

Workbench is a tool for creating and editing your SQL Delta command line script files. It makes creating a command line script for SQL Delta simple with no more hand coding of the XML file. Also SQL Delta Workbench is free.
